Backward Skips
1 - Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides.
2 - Begin moving backward by pushing off your right foot and stepping back with your left foot, lifting your left knee toward your hip as you go.
3 - As your left foot lands, simultaneously swing your right arm forward and left arm back in a coordinated, rhythmic motion.
4 - Push off the left foot and step back with the right foot, lifting your right knee and continuing the alternating arm swing.
5 - Maintain a slight forward lean in your torso and stay on the balls of your feet to keep the movement light and springy.
6 - Continue skipping backward in a smooth, controlled rhythm, focusing on hip flexor engagement and full arm drive.
7 - Perform for the desired duration or distance, keeping your core braced and your movements deliberate throughout.
