Dumbbell Step-Up with Knee Raise
1 - Stand upright holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides, facing a sturdy box or elevated platform at an appropriate height (typically knee height).
2 - Place your right foot firmly on top of the box, ensuring your entire foot is flat on the surface.
3 - Drive through your right heel to step up onto the box, fully extending your right leg as you rise.
4 - As you reach the top, drive your left knee upward toward your chest in a controlled motion to achieve full hip flexion.
5 - Pause briefly at the top while maintaining your balance on the right leg.
6 - Slowly lower your left foot back down to the floor in a controlled manner, followed by your right foot to return to the starting position.
7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions on one side before switching to the left leg.
