- Stand beside the pommel horse and mount it by placing both hands on the pommels, with your arms fully extended and your body supported above the horse.
- Begin in a straddle or straight-body support position with your weight evenly distributed between both hands on the pommels.
- Initiate the circular motion by shifting your weight to one side, swinging your legs in a wide, controlled circular arc around the horse.
- As your legs pass over one end of the horse, transfer your weight and hand support fluidly, lifting one hand at a time to allow the legs to pass through.
- Maintain tight core engagement, pointed toes, and straight legs throughout the circular motion to ensure clean, consistent circles.
- Continue the circular motion rhythmically, coordinating your weight shifts and hand lifts to keep the movement fluid and uninterrupted.
- Perform the desired number of circles, then dismount safely by swinging your legs to one side and landing with control beside the horse.
