Dumbbell Tate Press
- 1 - Lie face up on a flat bench holding a dumbbell in each hand above your chest with your arms extended.
- 2 - Turn your palms so they face your feet and angle the dumbbells slightly inward, keeping them close together over the center of your chest.
- 3 - Keep your upper arms relatively still and bend your elbows outward to lower the dumbbells toward your upper chest.
- 4 - Pause briefly when the dumbbells are near your chest, maintaining control and tension through your triceps.
- 5 - Extend your elbows to press the dumbbells back up to the starting position without letting them drift apart excessively.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, keeping the movement controlled and avoiding shoulder shrugging.
