Reverse Step-Up
- 1 - Stand on top of a sturdy box or bench with both feet fully supported and your torso upright.
- 2 - Shift your weight onto one working leg and let the opposite leg move slightly behind you toward the floor.
- 3 - Brace your core and keep your hips level as you slowly lower the non-working foot backward toward the ground.
- 4 - Lightly tap the floor with the descending foot without shifting your full body weight onto it.
- 5 - Drive through the heel and midfoot of the working leg to step back up onto the box.
- 6 - Fully extend the working hip and knee at the top while maintaining control and balance.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
