Hanging L-Sit
- Grab a pull-up bar with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, and hang freely with your arms fully extended.
- Engage your core and depress your scapulae (pull your shoulders down away from your ears) to create a stable base.
- With straight legs, raise both legs simultaneously until they are parallel to the floor, forming an 'L' shape with your body.
- Point your toes forward and keep your knees locked out to maximize tension in your core and hip flexors.
- Hold this position while maintaining a neutral spine and keeping your upper body as still as possible.
- Breathe steadily throughout the hold, avoiding any swinging or kipping motion.
- Lower your legs in a controlled manner to return to the dead hang position and repeat for the desired number of sets.
