Prone Knee Hang
- 1 - Lie face down on a firm bed, treatment table, or bench with your knees positioned just beyond the edge.
- 2 - Keep your hips flat against the surface and relax your legs so the lower leg of the working side hangs freely off the edge.
- 3 - Allow gravity to gently straighten the knee, creating a stretch behind the knee and through the hamstrings and calf.
- 4 - Keep the thigh supported and avoid lifting the hip or rotating the leg outward during the hold.
- 5 - Breathe steadily and relax into the position without forcing the knee or causing sharp pain.
- 6 - Hold for the prescribed duration, then slowly bend the knee and bring the leg back onto the surface.
- 7 - Repeat on the other side if needed or as directed by your rehabilitation plan.
