Cable Curl Straight Bar
- 1 - Attach a straight bar to the low pulley of a cable machine and select an appropriate weight.
- 2 - Stand facing the machine with your feet about shoulder-width apart and grip the bar with an underhand grip, palms facing up.
- 3 - Step back slightly to create cable tension, keeping your elbows close to your sides and your torso upright.
- 4 - Brace your core and curl the bar upward by bending your elbows, keeping your upper arms stationary.
- 5 - Squeeze your biceps at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position under control.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions without swinging your body or letting your elbows drift forward.
