Downward Dog to Cobra Push-Up
- Begin in a Downward Dog position: hands shoulder-width apart on the floor, hips raised high, forming an inverted V-shape with your body, heels pressing toward the ground.
- From Downward Dog, shift your weight forward by lowering your hips toward the floor, transitioning into a plank position with your arms straight.
- Perform a push-up by bending your elbows and lowering your chest toward the floor in a controlled manner, keeping your core tight and body in a straight line.
- At the bottom of the push-up, allow your hips to descend fully to the floor as you press through your hands and extend your arms, lifting your chest and arching your back into a Cobra pose.
- Hold the Cobra position briefly, squeezing your glutes and opening your chest while keeping your shoulders away from your ears.
- Push back up through a plank, then drive your hips back up into the Downward Dog position to complete one full repetition.
- Repeat the sequence for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining smooth, controlled transitions throughout.
