Sleeper Stretch
- 1 - Lie on your side with the shoulder you want to stretch underneath you and your knees slightly bent for stability.
- 2 - Position your bottom arm straight out in front of your shoulder, then bend the elbow to 90 degrees so your forearm points upward.
- 3 - Keep your shoulder blade gently set back and down, and make sure your upper arm stays in line with your shoulder.
- 4 - Using your top hand, gently press the back of your bottom hand toward the floor until you feel a mild stretch in the back of the shoulder.
- 5 - Hold the stretch without bouncing, keeping the pressure gentle and avoiding any sharp pain or pinching.
- 6 - Release slowly, rest briefly, and repeat for the desired duration or number of holds.
