Band External Shoulder Rotations
1 - Anchor a resistance band to a stable surface at elbow height, standing sideways to the anchor point.
2 - Grasp the band with the hand furthest from the anchor, keeping your elbow bent at 90 degrees and tucked close to your side.
3 - Place a small folded towel or your fist between your elbow and torso to maintain proper arm positioning throughout the movement.
4 - Starting with your forearm pointing toward the anchor point, rotate your forearm outward away from your body while keeping your elbow fixed at your side.
5 - Rotate until your forearm is pointing straight ahead or slightly past parallel, pausing briefly at the end range.
6 - Slowly return your forearm back to the starting position in a controlled manner, resisting the pull of the band.
7 - Complete all reps on one side before switching to the other arm.
