Sprint Three-Point Start
- 1 - Stand behind the start line with one foot forward and the other foot staggered back in a sprint-ready stance.
- 2 - Hinge at the hips and place the opposite hand of your front leg on the ground just behind the start line.
- 3 - Keep your hips slightly above shoulder height, your back flat, and your eyes focused a few feet ahead on the ground.
- 4 - Load your front leg by bending the knee and keeping tension through the glutes, hamstrings, and calves.
- 5 - On the start signal, explosively drive off both legs while swinging the free arm forward and the grounded arm back.
- 6 - Stay low during the first few steps, pushing the ground away with powerful, aggressive strides.
- 7 - Accelerate through the assigned distance while gradually rising into an upright sprinting posture.
