Barbell Inverted Row
- 1 - Set a barbell on a squat rack or Smith machine at about hip height.
- 2 - Lie underneath the bar with your body straight, legs extended, and heels on the floor.
- 3 - Grip the bar with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, arms fully extended.
- 4 - Brace your core and keep your body in a straight line from head to heels throughout the movement.
- 5 - Pull your chest up toward the bar by retracting your shoulder blades and driving your elbows back.
- 6 - Pause briefly at the top when your chest touches or nearly touches the bar.
- 7 - Lower yourself back down in a controlled manner until your arms are fully extended and repeat.
