1 - Set both cable pulleys to the lowest position on the cable machine and attach single-handle attachments to each side.
2 - Stand in the center of the cable machine with one foot slightly in front of the other for balance and stability.
3 - Grab one handle in each hand with an underhand or neutral grip, with the cables positioned at your sides near hip level.
4 - Slightly lean your torso forward at the hips, keeping your chest up and core braced.
5 - With a slight bend in your elbows, drive both handles upward and inward in a wide arcing motion, meeting at chest height or slightly above in front of you.
6 - Squeeze your chest muscles at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the handles back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
