1 - Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand with a pronated grip (palms facing down), resting against the front of your thighs.
2 - Engage your core and keep a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
3 - Raise one or both dumbbells simultaneously in front of you in a controlled arc until your arms are parallel to the floor (approximately 90 degrees).
4 - Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing the front deltoids.
5 - Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
