Kettlebell Snatch
- 1 - Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and place a kettlebell on the floor slightly in front of you.
- 2 - Hinge at your hips with a neutral spine, grip the kettlebell with one hand, and keep your opposite arm out for balance.
- 3 - Hike the kettlebell back between your legs, keeping it close to your body and loading your hips and hamstrings.
- 4 - Explosively extend your hips and knees to drive the kettlebell upward, guiding it close to your torso rather than pulling with your arm.
- 5 - As the kettlebell rises, quickly rotate your hand around the handle so the bell rolls smoothly onto the back of your forearm without slamming.
- 6 - Lock the kettlebell overhead with your arm straight, shoulder stable, core braced, and ribs down.
- 7 - Lower the kettlebell by guiding it back down close to your body and into the backswing, then repeat for the desired reps before switching sides.
