Cable Upright Row
- 1 - Attach a straight bar or EZ bar handle to a low cable pulley and stand facing the machine with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
- 2 - Grip the handle with an overhand grip, hands slightly narrower than shoulder-width, and let your arms hang straight in front of your thighs.
- 3 - Stand tall with your chest up, core braced, shoulders down and back, and maintain a neutral spine.
- 4 - Pull the handle upward toward your upper chest by driving your elbows up and out to the sides, keeping the bar close to your body.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top when your elbows reach about shoulder height, avoiding excessive shoulder shrugging or pulling too high.
- 6 - Lower the handle back to the starting position in a controlled motion.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
