Stair-Elevated Calf Raise
- 1 - Stand on the edge of a stair or step with the balls of your feet on the surface and your heels hanging off the edge.
- 2 - Hold a wall, railing, or stable surface lightly for balance if needed.
- 3 - Lower your heels slowly below the level of the step, feeling a full stretch in your calves.
- 4 - Press through the balls of your feet to rise up as high as possible onto your toes, squeezing your calves at the top.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top of the movement before lowering back down in a controlled manner.
- 6 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining a slow and controlled tempo throughout.
