Cable Standing Calf Raise
- 1 - Attach a straight bar, rope, or handle to a low cable pulley and stand facing the machine with your feet about hip-width apart.
- 2 - Hold the attachment securely and step back slightly so there is tension on the cable while keeping your torso upright.
- 3 - Keep your knees mostly straight but not locked, brace your core, and place your weight evenly through the balls of your feet.
- 4 - Raise your heels as high as possible by pushing through the balls of your feet and contracting your calves.
- 5 - Pause briefly at the top, keeping control of the cable and avoiding leaning backward.
- 6 - Lower your heels slowly until you feel a stretch in your calves.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
