Calf Pulses
- 1 - Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart, toes pointing forward. You may hold onto a wall or sturdy surface for balance if needed.
- 2 - Rise up onto the balls of your feet as high as possible, fully contracting your calf muscles.
- 3 - Instead of lowering all the way down, perform small, rapid up-and-down pulsing movements at the top of the range of motion.
- 4 - Keep the pulses controlled and consistent, maintaining tension in the calves throughout the movement.
- 5 - Ensure your core is engaged and your body remains upright with minimal swaying.
- 6 - Continue pulsing for the desired duration or repetition count, then slowly lower your heels back to the ground to complete the set.
