- 1 - Enter the sauna and sit or lie down on the wooden bench, choosing a higher bench for more intense heat.
- 2 - Ensure the temperature is set between 70–100°C (158–212°F) for a traditional dry sauna session.
- 3 - Breathe slowly and deeply through your nose, allowing your body to gradually acclimate to the heat.
- 4 - Remain seated or lying down for 10–20 minutes per session, hydrating adequately beforehand.
- 5 - Exit the sauna if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or excessively uncomfortable at any point.
- 6 - After exiting, cool down gradually with a cool shower or by resting in a cooler environment for at least 5–10 minutes.
- 7 - Repeat 1–3 rounds if desired, ensuring you rehydrate with water or electrolytes between rounds.
