Pool Running
- 1 - Enter chest-deep to deep water and position yourself upright with your torso tall and your core engaged.
- 2 - If using a flotation belt, secure it around your waist so you can maintain a vertical posture without touching the pool floor.
- 3 - Begin running in place or moving forward through the water by driving one knee upward while the opposite arm swings forward naturally.
- 4 - Extend the lifted leg back down and behind you while switching to the opposite knee drive, mimicking a normal running stride.
- 5 - Keep your shoulders relaxed, chest lifted, and avoid leaning too far forward or cycling your legs behind you.
- 6 - Maintain a steady cadence and use your arms actively to help balance and increase intensity.
- 7 - Continue for the prescribed duration, distance, or interval, then slow down gradually before stopping.
