Dumbbell Power Snatch
1 - Stand with your feet about hip- to shoulder-width apart and place a dumbbell on the floor between your feet.
2 - Hinge at the hips and bend your knees slightly, keeping your chest up, back flat, and one hand gripping the dumbbell.
3 - Drive through your legs explosively while extending your hips, knees, and ankles to pull the dumbbell upward close to your body.
4 - As the dumbbell rises, shrug your shoulder and pull your elbow high, then quickly rotate your arm under the dumbbell.
5 - Catch the dumbbell overhead with your arm fully extended and knees slightly bent in a power position.
6 - Stand tall to complete the repetition, keeping your core braced and the dumbbell stable overhead.
7 - Lower the dumbbell under control back to the floor or switch hands as programmed, then repeat for the desired repetitions.
