Barbell Behind-the-Neck Seated Press
- 1 - Sit upright on a bench with back support or a military press bench, with your feet flat on the floor.
- 2 - Grip the barbell with a wide overhand grip (wider than shoulder-width), resting it across your upper traps behind your head.
- 3 - Brace your core, retract your shoulder blades, and keep your torso tall and upright.
- 4 - Press the barbell directly overhead in a controlled motion until your arms are fully extended without locking out the elbows.
- 5 - Slowly lower the barbell back down behind your neck to the starting position, keeping the movement controlled throughout.
- 6 - Ensure your neck remains neutral and avoid tilting your head forward excessively during the movement.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
