Barbell Clean From Blocks
1 - Set up blocks at a height that positions the barbell just below or at knee level, ensuring a stable and secure setup.
2 - Stand with your feet hip-width apart, toes pointing slightly outward, with the barbell resting on the blocks directly over your mid-foot.
3 - Hinge at the hips and bend your knees to grip the bar just outside your legs with a double overhand hook grip, keeping your chest up, back flat, and lats engaged.
4 - Take a deep breath, brace your core, and initiate the pull by driving through your legs while keeping the bar close to your body.
5 - As the bar passes the knee, aggressively extend your hips, knees, and ankles in a powerful triple extension, simultaneously shrugging your shoulders upward.
6 - Pull yourself under the bar quickly by dropping into a front squat position, rotating your elbows forward and around to catch the bar across the front of your shoulders in the rack position.
7 - Stand up from the squat to complete the lift, then lower the bar back to the blocks under control and reset before the next repetition.
