Sandbag Front Squat
- 1 - Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and hold the sandbag in a front-loaded position across your upper chest and front shoulders.
- 2 - Keep your elbows high, brace your core, and maintain a tall chest with your spine neutral.
- 3 - Initiate the squat by bending your knees and hips, lowering your body under control while keeping the sandbag close to your torso.
- 4 - Descend until your thighs are at least parallel to the ground, or as low as you can maintain proper posture and heel contact.
- 5 - Drive through your midfoot and heels to stand back up, keeping your knees tracking in line with your toes.
- 6 - Fully extend your hips and knees at the top without leaning back, then repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
