Cambered Bar Squat
- Set a cambered bar in a squat rack at about upper-chest height and load it evenly with the desired weight.
- Step under the bar so it rests securely across your upper back and traps, keeping your chest lifted and core braced.
- Grip the bar handles firmly, stand up to unrack it, then take 1–3 controlled steps back into your squat stance.
- With feet about shoulder-width apart, push your hips back slightly and bend your knees to descend under control.
- Lower until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor or to your comfortable range while keeping your torso stable and knees tracking over your toes.
- Drive through your midfoot and heels to stand back up, maintaining balance as the cambered bar may swing slightly.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then carefully walk forward and re-rack the bar.
