Box Squat
- 1 - Set a box behind you at a height that allows you to squat to about parallel or your target depth.
- 2 - Position a barbell across your upper back, grip it firmly, and stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart.
- 3 - Brace your core, keep your chest up, and hinge slightly at the hips before bending your knees.
- 4 - Lower yourself under control by sitting your hips back toward the box while keeping your knees tracking over your toes.
- 5 - Lightly sit or pause on the box without relaxing your torso or collapsing your posture.
- 6 - Drive through your heels and midfoot to stand back up, extending your hips and knees fully.
- 7 - Repeat for the desired number of repetitions while maintaining control and consistent depth.
