Barbell Clean-Grip Romanian Deadlift
1 - Stand with your feet hip-width apart, holding a barbell with a clean grip (pronated, shoulder-width grip) in front of your thighs.
2 - Engage your core, retract your shoulder blades, and maintain a neutral spine throughout the movement.
3 - With a slight bend in your knees, hinge at the hips by pushing them back, lowering the barbell along the front of your legs in a controlled manner.
4 - Continue lowering the bar until you feel a deep stretch in your hamstrings, typically around mid-shin level, keeping the bar close to your body.
5 - Drive your hips forward to return to the starting position, squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement.
6 - Avoid rounding your lower back at any point; keep your chest up and spine neutral throughout.
