Dumbbell Alternating Snatch
- 1 - Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and place a dumbbell on the floor between your feet.
- 2 - Hinge at your hips and bend your knees to grip the dumbbell with one hand, keeping your chest up, back flat, and core braced.
- 3 - Drive through your legs and hips explosively, pulling the dumbbell upward close to your body.
- 4 - As the dumbbell rises, quickly rotate your elbow under it and punch your arm overhead until the dumbbell is locked out above your shoulder.
- 5 - Stand tall at the top with your arm fully extended, core tight, and the dumbbell stable overhead.
- 6 - Lower the dumbbell back to the floor in a controlled motion, switch hands, and repeat on the opposite side.
- 7 - Continue alternating arms for the desired number of repetitions.
